Volleyball Recap: Oak Grove Comes Up Short

Oak Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Shelby County Wildcats. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in August of 2016.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15.

Oak Grove's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Shelby County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Coming up, Oak Grove will square off against Indian Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shelby County, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Victory Christian on the 6th.
