With a playoff win on the line, Fayetteville rose to the challenge on Friday. They never let the Keith Bears get on the board and left with a 20-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won 16 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Axel Culberson looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

At the plate, Connor Crumpton was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Blake McDaniel was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Fayetteville's win bumped their record up to 21-11. As for Keith, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Keith is taking a road trip to square off against Selma at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Fayetteville will be paying especially close attention to the Bears' contest: after the Bears face off against the Saints, they'll take on Fayetteville again at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
