Basketball Recap: Rockwell Christian School Comes Up Short

Rockwell Christian School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 46-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Hills Christian Eagles. The Chargers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.

It was another big night for Reese Merrell, who went 7 for 14 on her way to 20 points in addition to eight boards and six assists for North Hills Christian.

Rockwell Christian School's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for North Hills Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rockwell Christian School will take on Faith Christian in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Hills Christian, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the North Hills Christian Eagles challenge the Lee Christian Falcons at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
