Softball Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss

Waterloo lost against Mineral Point back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pirates took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pointers. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waterloo's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Mineral Point, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

Coming up, Waterloo will venture away from home to square off against Deerfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Demons will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Pirates surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mineral Point, they will take on Darlington at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Pointers are facing the Redbirds at the right time seeing as the Redbirds are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
