Volleyball Recap: Aspen's Undefeated Season over After Six Games + How To Watch

Aspen lost against Glenwood Springs back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Skiers fell 3-1 to the Demons. The loss put an end to the Skiers' undefeated start to the season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15, 20-25, 25-17.

Aspen's offense was headlined by Mary Morse and Brooke Jewell, who picked up five kills apiece. They were helped by Ava Braley and Belle Sinclair, who contributed six assists each. Sinclair was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Aspen fell to 5-1. As for Glenwood Springs, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Aspen and Glenwood Springs should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. The Skiers will take on Grand Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (56 vs. 259). Meanwhile, Glenwood Springs (ranked 39th) will meet Rifle (ranked 198th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
