Saguaro (Ariz.) guard picks Trojans over four other Pac-10 schools and Nebraska.

Saguaro (Scottsdale, Ariz.) senior Cyrus Hobbi announced Friday that he will continue his football career at USC.

The 6-foot-4, 285-pound lineman is ranked No. 5 nationally at his position guard/center but could move over to tackle.

Other programs that offered him were Arizona State, UCLA, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon State, Washington.

He took official visits to ASU, UCLA, USC, Nebraska and Oregon State.

Despite sanctions levied against the Trojans in the Reggie Bush probe, recruiting hasn't apparently effected USC coach Lane Kiffin, whose team could move up from its No. 8 recruiting spot
