Recap: Southern Wake Academy Lions vs. Ascend Leadership Aviators
In what's become a running theme this season, the Southern Wake Academy Lions gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They blew past Ascend Leadership 85-11 at home. While fans of Southern Wake Academy might be used to big wins, the 74-point margin marked the team's biggest win yet this season.
Chris Crudup continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with seven steals and five assists. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Rechetnikov, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Southern Wake Academy and bumps their season record up to 14-9. As for Ascend Leadership, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Southern Wake Academy will head out on the road to challenge the Aviators at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ascend Leadership is out to stop a eight-game streak of losses at home dating back to last season.
