Volleyball Recap: Burbank Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

On Friday, the Burbank Titans made easy work of the West Campus Warriors and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The win didn't come easy: West Campus scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-23.

Burbank found their leader in freshman Steven Vang, who had eight digs and four aces.

Burbank's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1. As for West Campus, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-6.

Burbank has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Armijo on the 10th. As for West Campus, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Johnson on the 10th.
