Basketball Recap: Blake Oglialoro's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Palisades over Wilson Area

Palisades lost against Wilson Area back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Palisades Pirates lost 76-51 to the Wilson Area Warriors. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Pirates players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Blake Oglialoro, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Andrew, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 12 points.

Palisades' loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Wilson Area, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Palisades will take on Bangor at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wilson Area, they will welcome Saucon Valley at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. Saucon Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
