Softball Game Preview: Kiski Area Cavaliers vs. Greater Latrobe Wildcats

Kiski Area hasn't had much luck against Greater Latrobe recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Cavaliers will be playing at home against the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Kiski Area came up short against Butler and fell 9-5. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alyssa Perona made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. Dakota Rainey was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Greater Latrobe also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Forest Hills by a score of 11-6.

Greater Latrobe now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Kiski Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.
