Muskogee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Booker T. Washington Hornets. That's two games in a row now that Muskogee has lost by exactly three runs.
Kylin Blue and Jace Paul did some serious damage despite the final result: Blue went 2-for-2 with a triple and a run, while Paul went 2-for-4 with a stolen base, two RBI, and a double. Paul is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last three games he's played.
Muskogee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Booker T. Washington, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-15.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Muskogee will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Moore at 4:00 p.m. As for Booker T. Washington, they will face off against Fort Gibson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
