If Central Bucks West beats Pennridge with 12 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Bucks beat Mt. St. Joseph Academy on Saturday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bucks.

Central Bucks West let Taylor Sheplock and Taylor Hooven run wild. Sheplock went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Hooven went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave Sheplock a new career-high. Katherine James was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Central Bucks West always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Pennridge was not the first on the board on Monday, but they got there more often. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Central Bucks East, sneaking past 3-1.
Averi Dockery was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs.
In other batting news, Jadyn Gulbinski was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Emerson Lesher also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Central Bucks West's record now sits at 11-8. As for Pennridge, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Central Bucks West hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Pennridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Central Bucks West came out on top in a nail-biter against Pennridge when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 10-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bucks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
