Soccer Game Preview: Tascosa vs. Americas

The Tascosa Rebels will challenge the Americas Trail Blazers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Tascosa is coming into the contest hot, having won their last ten games.

Tascosa is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Legacy a 5-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Tascosa, who have now won 11 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Legacy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rylee Anderson (2), Leah Brewton, Karina Garcia, and Tabitha Fowler.

Meanwhile, Americas hadn't done well against Chapin recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Trail Blazers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Huskies, sneaking past 3-2.

Americas' win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Tascosa, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4-2.
