Baseball Recap: Six Straight Road Victories for Potomac School

Flint Hill typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Potomac School proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged out the Huskies 6-4. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Huskies: they've now won eight in a row.

The team relied heavily on Owen Taylormoore, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and two doubles. Potomac School is 5-1 when Taylormoore posts two or more runs, but 5-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Christian Lam, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles.

Potomac School pushed their record up to 10-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Flint Hill, their loss ended a 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 18-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Huskies beat Potomac School by a score of 14-5 on Friday.
