Softball Recap: East Stroudsburg North Takes a Loss

East Stroudsburg North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 15-5 to the East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Timberwolves of the 14-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

East Stroudsburg North saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyssa Adrover, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

East Stroudsburg North's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for East Stroudsburg South, their record now sits at 5-6.

Looking ahead, East Stroudsburg North will face off against Whitehall at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Timberwolves' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Zephyrs have averaged an impressive 12 runs per game this season. As for East Stroudsburg South, they are taking a road trip to face off against Parkland at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cavaliers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
