Softball Recap: Bay Comes Up Short

Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 17-1 to the Greene County Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 5-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Bay's record now sits at 5-10. As for Greene County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Bay will welcome Biloxi at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Biloxi is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Greene County, they will venture away from home to square off against Enterprise at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
