Soccer Game Preview: Booker T. Washington vs. Maury

Booker T. Washington hasn't had much luck against Maury recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Mighty Bookers are taking a road trip to face off against the Commodores at 4:00 p.m. Booker T. Washington has given up an average of 7.9 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Booker T. Washington is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Monday. They came up short against Indian River, falling 11-0.

Meanwhile, Maury kept a clean sheet against Tallwood on Tuesday. They blew past the Lions 4-0. Maury might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by three goals or more this season.

Zareya Owens and Zoe Redel scored all four of Maury's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Booker T. Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Maury, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Booker T. Washington might still be hurting after the 9-0 loss they got from Maury when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Mighty Bookers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
