Spring Creek has been away from home for four games now, but on Friday they'll finally make their return. After both having extra time off, they and the Dayton Dust Devils will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. Dayton took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Spring Creek, who comes in off a win.
Last Saturday, Spring Creek made easy work of Churchill County and carried off a 3-0 win.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-20, 25-23.
Meanwhile, Dayton lost 3-0 to Fernley on Friday. The Dust Devils haven't had much luck with the Vaqueros recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
While Dayton had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-20.
Spring Creek pushed their record up to 7-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Dayton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
