Basketball Recap: Jahmarie Mcleod's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Camden over Dreher

Camden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 62-45 bruising from the Dreher Blue Devils. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Camden lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jahmarie Mcleod, who posted 16 points and six boards. That was a full 35.6% of Camden's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jymere Lee, who had eight points.

Even though they lost, Camden smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Dreher got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Austin Glasscho out in front who put up 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Brown, who posted ten points.

Camden now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Dreher, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5.

Camden wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-61 defeat against South Pointe on the 8th. As for Dreher, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-38 victory against Richland Northeast on the 8th.
