Ardrey Kell will bounce into Wednesday's matchup after beating Charlotte Catholic, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Ardrey Kell walked away with a 6-1 victory over Charlotte Catholic on Monday.
Jenna Volturno spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 12 Ks. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in strikeouts.

At the plate, Janey Galek was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Reilly Cusimano, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Ardrey Kell hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 3-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, South Mecklenburg posted their closest win since February 26th on Monday. They skirted past Hopewell 5-4.
Sofia Vayo looked comfortable as she tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.
On the hitting side, South Mecklenburg's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ashlynn Hall, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Hall also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season.
The win got Ardrey Kell back to even at 5-5. As for South Mecklenburg, their record is now 6-4.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Ardrey Kell has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.7 hits per game. However, it's not like South Mecklenburg struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 3.7 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
