Basketball Recap: Laporte Takes a Loss

Laporte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 95-35 loss at the hands of the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 374th, while the Wolves are ranked 104th).

Laporte's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Walker-Hackensack-Akeley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Laporte wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-37 loss against Bertha-Hewitt on the 30th. Walker-Hackensack-Akeley has also already played their next matchup, a 73-26 win against Nevis on the 30th.
