Softball Game Preview: Antelope Valley Antelopes vs. Littlerock Lobos

Antelope Valley hasn't had much luck against Littlerock recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Antelope Valley Antelopes will be playing at home against the Littlerock Lobos at 3:15 p.m. Antelope Valley has given up an average of 13.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Antelope Valley is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Palmdale on Tuesday as Antelope Valley made off with a 31-20 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Antelopes as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Littlerock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Lancaster, falling 13-3.

Littlerock's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Antelope Valley, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-7.
