Basketball Game Preview: Oakridge Eagles vs. Kent City Eagles

The Oakridge Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Kent City Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Oakridge will be strutting in after a victory while Kent City will be coming in after a loss.

Oakridge took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Orchard View 61-31. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Kent City played a tough contest on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 61-37 to Kenowa Hills. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Kent City's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Oakridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
