Basketball Game Preview: Mora Rangers/Rangerettes vs. McCurdy Bobcats

Mora hasn't had much luck against McCurdy recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Mora Rangers/Rangerettes will welcome the McCurdy Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Mora is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Questa on Saturday as Mora made off with a 72-46 win. The victory was nothing new for the Rangers/Rangerettes as they're now sitting on three straight.

Meanwhile, McCurdy posted their biggest win since January 7th on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 61-35 margin over Questa. The Bobcats pushed the score to 48-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wildcats cut but never quite recovered from.

McCurdy is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Mora, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Mora didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against McCurdy in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 55-49 win. Does Mora have another victory up their sleeve, or will McCurdy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
