Banning waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Cathedral City Lions 37-6. Considering the Broncos have won three games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

JACOB ANZALDUA was his usual excellent self, throwing for 326 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. What's more, he racked up 133.5 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. 110 of ANZALDUA's passing yards were hauled in by JADONNIE NICHOLS, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Another reason for the win was Banning's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. TANA OFISA was especially locked on to Cathedral City's QB and sacked him twice. OFISA is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. GEOVONTAE JOHNSON was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making ten total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Banning's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Cathedral City, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
