Preview: Arlington Lions vs. Ramona Rams
The Arlington Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Ramona Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Last Friday, Arlington had to suffer through a rough 49-3 loss at the hands of Norte Vista. While losing is never fun, Arlington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 600th, while Norte Vista is ranked 109th).
Meanwhile, Ramona got themselves on the board against La Sierra on Thursday, but La Sierra never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 31-0 win over the Eagles on the road.
With Arlington's defeat and Ramona's win, both teams now sport identical 4-4 records.
Arlington was taken down by Ramona 42-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Thankfully for Arlington, Beau Bruins (who rushed for 280 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 17.5 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
