Basketball Game Preview: Perkins County Plainsmen vs. Valentine

Having just played yesterday, the Perkins County Plainsmen will jump right back in to play Valentine at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Valentine will be up against a hot Perkins County team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Perkins County was the clear victors by a 64-40 margin over Gordon-Rushville on Wednesday. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Plainsmen had established a 22 point advantage.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valentine). They took their matchup on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 56-28 victory over Bayard. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Valentine has posted since January 7th.

Valentine's victory bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Perkins County, their win bumped their record up to 10-12.
