Uxbridge put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Leicester Wolverines get on the board and left with a 29-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won 13 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Erin O'Day made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with four runs.

In other batting news, Uxbridge got a massive performance out of Katherine Pratt, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs Pratt has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Lola Grube, who got on base in all six of her plate appearances with one home run, five runs, and two RBI.

Uxbridge always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .784. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Uxbridge's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Leicester, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Uxbridge will host Nipmuc Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Leicester, they will challenge Bartlett at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
