Uxbridge put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Leicester Wolverines get on the board and left with a 29-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won 13 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Erin O'Day made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with four runs.
In other batting news, Uxbridge got a massive performance out of Katherine Pratt, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and four RBI.
