Basketball Recap: Quanah Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Quanah and New Home squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Quanah had to settle for second. They fell just short of the New Home Leopards by a score of 41-39. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 845th, while the Leopards are ranked 219th).

Quanah's loss dropped their record down to 19-14. As for New Home, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 29-5.

Quanah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Home, they will take on Morton on Monday.
