Softball Recap: Lunenburg Central Falls Short of Central Woodstock in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lunenburg Central can now relate to. They lost 9-2 to the Central Woodstock Falcons on Tuesday. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lunenburg Central's defeat dropped their record down to 17-3. As for Central Woodstock, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

Lunenburg Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Woodstock, they will take on Central Wise at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
