Football Game Preview: Stamford Bulldogs vs. Hawley Bearcats + How To Watch

Stamford is 2-8 against Hawley since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Stamford put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They blew past Olney 60-14. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Cubs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

While passing duties were split, you can't argue with the impact Miles Follis and Mason Mueller both made on the matchup. Follis threw for 142 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 5-for-5 passing while Mueller rushed for 72 yards and one TD on only six carries. Stamford also got help from Slayden Young, who showed off his sure hands for 104 receiving yards.

Stamford strolled past Hawley when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a score of 38-22. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Bearcats' Keagan Ables, who threw for 353 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 56 yards.
