Soccer Game Preview: LaGrange vs. Mary Persons

The LaGrange Grangers will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Mary Persons Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. LaGrange will be strutting in after a victory while Mary Persons will be coming in after a defeat.

Mary Persons better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when LaGrange really gets things going. LaGrange never let Upson-Lee get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Tuesday. The Grangers better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Reese Humphries, as she scored every single goal for her team.

Meanwhile, Mary Persons was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Academy for Classical Education, falling 4-0. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Bulldogs struggled afterwards.

LaGrange's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-6. As for Mary Persons, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
