With a playoff win on the line, Delphi Community rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Western Boone Stars 53-26. Winning may never get old, but the Oracles sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Leading Delphi Community to victory were Payton Morrow and Ava Mills. Morrow went 6-for-10 to rack up 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Mills shot 50% from the field on her way to 16 points in addition to six boards and four steals. Mills has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Frost, who posted three points in addition to six steals and five rebounds.

Delphi Community was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They are 15-3 when they've passed the ball that well.

Despite the loss, Western Boone still got an impressive performance from Ally Lewis, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. Mady Monks was another key player, putting up five points.

Delphi Community's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Western Boone, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season.

Delphi Community will take on Benton Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Western Boone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
