Happy Holidays! We celebrate the close of 2016 with the release of the eighth annual JJHuddle All-Ohio Football Team. This year MaxPreps joins the fray. The MP/JJH All-Ohio team covers all-divisions and can basically be summed up by this: If you had to create an all-star team from Ohio to play in a national tournament, who would you want suiting up for the Buckeye State? Annually we also present a state player and coach of the year to headline our team. This year's winners are...

2016 MaxPreps/JJHuddle Ohio Football Player of the Year

Josh Myers, sr., OL, Miamisburg
During his four years as a starter, Myers' Miamisburg teams had a record of 34-12, made four straight playoff appearances and won the program's first postseason games (28-24 over Kings and 28-21 over Troy) this season. Before his arrival the Vikings had gone to the playoffs once in school history (2000) and were 20-50 in the previous seven seasons. Myers is ranked the No. 1 prospect in Ohio and the No. 3 tackle prospect nationally by the 247 sports composite rankings. He is the country's No. 10 overall prospect regardless of position. Myers is a four-time first team All-Greater Western Ohio Conference selection. He was the first commit to Ohio State's 2017 Class and will report early to the Buckeyes.
