Basketball Game Preview: Eastmont Wildcats vs. Eisenhower Cadets

Eastmont hasn't had much luck against Eisenhower recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Eastmont Wildcats are taking a road trip to square off against the Eisenhower Cadets at 5:30 p.m. Eastmont will be strutting in after a win while Eisenhower will be coming in after a loss.

It was a proper cat-fight when Eastmont duked it out with Wenatchee on Tuesday. Eastmont put the hurt on Wenatchee with a sharp 51-28 victory. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Eisenhower was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 44-39 to West Valley. The Cadets haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Eastmont, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.

Eastmont and Eisenhower were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in January, but Eastmont came up empty-handed after a 71-70 loss. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Eisenhower's Nekha Roehl, who went 8 of 19 on her way to 24 points and six rebounds.
