Softball Recap: Denmark Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

While Denmark's win against Clintonville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Truckers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Vikings have posted since May 21, 2024.

Denmark's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Clintonville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
