Basketball Recap: North Hardin Comes Up Short

North Hardin lost against Elizabethtown two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The North Hardin Trojans took a blow against the Elizabethtown Panthers, falling 72-39. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 174th, while the Panthers are ranked 48th).

North Hardin's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Elizabethtown, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

North Hardin will be playing at home against John Hardin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Elizabethtown, they will challenge Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Elizabethtown knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Central likes a good challenge.
