With a playoff win on the line, Middletown rose to the challenge on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Owings Mills Golden Eagles 35-0. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 28 points or more this season.

Middletown's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.4 points over those games. As for Owings Mills, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Middletown will take on Liberty on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Knights 14.2, the Lions 15) so any points scored will be well earned. Owings Mills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
