Palisades's game  last Tuesday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Thursday. They blew past the Olympic Trojans 20-1. The  win continues a trend for the Pumas in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won five in a row.
 Ashby Jones was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Sanaa Dorsey and  Mariah Rushin did most of the damage at the plate:  Dorsey  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2, while  Rushin  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances. What's more,  Rushin posted two  RBI, the most she's  had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Janiya Johnson, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in both of her plate appearances.
 Palisades  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .833. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Palisades picked up their first home  victory, bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Olympic, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the  loss, which was their 14th straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palisades will host Porter Ridge  at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. As for Olympic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Myers Park  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Olympic has given up an average of 19.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
