Calallen is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They blew past China Spring 11-1. The win was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won eight contests in a row.

Drayton Mitchell made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Calallen's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 34-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.9 runs over those games. As for Pleasant Grove, their record is now 37-4.
