Recap: Doyle Tigers vs. Springfield Bulldogs

The Doyle Tigers entered their tilt with the Springfield Bulldogs with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Doyle strolled past Springfield with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 64-49. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Doyle also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caden Dykes, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tobias McGee, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 assists.

Doyle is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Springfield, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-3.

Doyle will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pope John Paul II at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. Springfield will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Albany at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th.
