Cascade Christian strolled into their game  on Friday with a perfect  record and they left with the same. They didn't even let the Phoenix Pirates on the board, marking the Challengers' second-straight  69-0 shutout. The  matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Challengers had established  a  56-point advantage.
Leading Cascade Christian to victory were  Deryk Farmer and  Bryson Walker.  Farmer threw for 229 yards and a pair of  TDs while completing 81.8% of his passes, while  Walker gained 123 total yards and four touchdowns. Those  229  passing yards gave  Farmer a new career-high.  Caleb Scaglione also deserves a mention for his  punt return touchdown.
 Special teams also played a big role in the game for Cascade Christian, adding 15 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of  Scaglione, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Cascade Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Phoenix, their loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 4-3.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cascade Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against North Valley at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 24th. As for Phoenix, they will host Klamath Union  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
