Volleyball Recap: Lisa Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lisa Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Baptist Prep Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

While Lisa Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Baptist Prep's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-7, 25-11.

Baptist Prep was led to victory by Caroline Chapman and Kayla Midkiff. Chapman had seven aces and three digs, while Midkiff had eight digs and three aces. With that strong performance, Chapman is now averaging an impressive 3.3 aces per game.

Lisa Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Baptist Prep, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5-1.

Lisa Academy has already played their next matchup (against Bauxite), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Baptist Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Southside on the 11th.
