Glasgow gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They skirted past the Washington County Commanders 6-4. Winning may never get old, but the Scotties sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Steven Garrett was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Garrett was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double. That double was his first of the season.
Garrett wasn't the only one making solid contact as eight players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Josiah Driver, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Driver is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
