Recap: Fremont vs. Mountain View
The Fremont Firebirds have not lost a match since January 16th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. Neither they nor Mountain View could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
Fremont avoided a loss thanks to
Roman Avagimov and
Omer Klein, who posted both of Fremont's goals. The pair have combined for a total of seven so far this season.
Fremont's draw makes their record 8-6-3 on the season. Meanwhile, Mountain View's record is now 16-1-1.
Fremont will head out on the road to square off against Gunn at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gunn's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Mountain View, they will be playing at home against Palo Alto at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Mountain View's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Palo Alto has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
