Eagle's Landing has gone 10-0 against Stockbridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Eagle's Landing Eagles will get right back to it and host the Stockbridge Tigers at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Eagle's Landing has eight straight wins, Stockbridge has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Eagle's Landing is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Eagle's Landing Christian Academy 80-64 on Friday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Chargers are ranked 256th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Stockbridge came up short against South Atlanta on Monday, falling 59-39.

Eagle's Landing will need focus on slowing down Cameron Niles, one of several Stockbridge players who made an impact when they last played. He almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave Niles a new career-high in assists (four). Another player making a difference was Shannon Glover, who posted nine points and seven rebounds.

Even though they lost, Stockbridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Eagle's Landing has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Stockbridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Eagle's Landing was able to grind out a solid victory over Stockbridge in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 63-55. Will Eagle's Landing repeat their success, or does Stockbridge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
