Recap: Concordia Cardinals vs. Sacred Heart Indians

The Concordia Cardinals pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were dealt a 82-55 loss at the hands of Sacred Heart. Concordia was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-23.

Sacred Heart was led to victory by Hudson Kutac and Andrew Steffek. Kutac shot 4-for-7 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 steals, while Steffek dropped a double-double on 32 points and 18 rebounds. Steffek is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 20 every time he's taken the court this season. Klayton Chance was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with four steals.

Concordia has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 15 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Sacred Heart, they pushed their record up to 26-6 with that win, which was their third straight at home.

Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing St. Paul the next time they take the court. Sacred Heart will host St. Paul at 7:45 p.m. on Monday, while Concordia will host them at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
