Softball Recap: North Myrtle Beach Victorious

North Myrtle Beach posted their closest victory since April 16, 2024 on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the East Carteret Mariners 6-5.

The team relied heavily on Sadie Olson, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Lilly Carney, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

North Myrtle Beach's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for East Carteret, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

North Myrtle Beach will head out to challenge Myrtle Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Carteret, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
