Soccer Game Preview: Liberty vs. Mineral Ridge

The Liberty Leopards will challenge the Mineral Ridge Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Liberty's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Liberty is headed into the match having not lost since September 22 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Newton Falls finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw on Wednesday. That draw made it three straight for Liberty.

Meanwhile, Mineral Ridge kept a clean sheet against Brookfield on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Warriors. The victory continues a trend for Mineral Ridge in their matchups with Brookfield: they've now won eight in a row.

Mineral Ridge hit Brookfield with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tyler Simpson (3), Brandon Komsa, Steven Gutierrez, and Braylen Cowger.

Liberty's draw gives them a new season record of 6-6-4. As for Mineral Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 10-3-2.
