Soccer Recap: Decatur Finishes Even with Westminster Christian Academy

Decatur pushed their score to two the last time they played Westminster Christian Academy, but on Thursday they couldn't quite do it again. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Red Raiders have been dealt a draw since back in February.

Decatur's draw gives them a new season record of 5-4-2. Meanwhile, Westminster Christian Academy's record is now 6-1-1.

Looking ahead, Decatur will square off against Hartselle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hartselle will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Decatur surely won't give up without a fight. As for Westminster Christian Academy, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Westminster Christian Academy duke it out with Huntsville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
